In 2019-2021, PRAXIS will host a series of events around five main strands.
PRAXIS will host a series of larger scale events or thematically organised workshops that aim to bring together global partners, to create synergies between projects, to foster innovative and interdisciplinary collaboration, and to discuss collective learning for global challenges. The five PRAXIS strands are Heritage, Conflict and Displacement, COVID-19, Youth Engagement and Policy Impact. These strands showcase the leading role AHRC has played is fostering innovative research that crosses interdisciplinary boundaries, essential to addressing the full complexity of global challenges.
In addition to the thematic workshops, PRAXIS will host a series of learning Events that address issues that arise within GCRF projects, including Evaluating the Arts. The aim of the workshops is to create resources that will be of support to other GCRF projects; for example, podcasts, methodological toolkits, resource maps, etc. PRAXIS is also open to offering funding and logistical support to projects and/or individuals who have a clear conceptual idea of a Learning Event they are interested in hosting themselves (provided it contributes to the overall aims of PRAXIS).
