Glen Ncube is a lecturer in the Department of Historical and Heritage Studies, University of Pretoria, where he teaches modules in African and global history. He completed a PhD in historical studies from the University of Cape Town in 2012, where he also contributed to teaching different courses and academic development programmes in history. His main areas of research interest include the histories of medicine and rural healthcare; medical humanities; and archives. He previously held postdoctoral research fellowships in the Archive and Public Culture Research Initiative (University of Cape Town), and in the history department of the University of South Africa. He is an executive member of the Historical Association of South Africa (HASA).
Glen is a Co-Investigator on Phase 2 South Africa project 'Mapping Community Heritage with Young People in Rural South Africa.'
