Laura Toro is the Project Manager in Casa Tres Patios and Research Manager at OCCULUS research Center. Her work is related to the administration, evaluation and creation of social interventions and the design of implementation plans. Her research is focused on evidence-based policy, applied epistemology, discourse analysis and policy adoption. In particular, she is interested in the design of methodologies to improve the replicability of successful social interventions in new scenarios.

Laura Toro has worked in several projects as consultant creating social interventions and policies. She has worked in the creation of intervention plans and the design of programs to prevent the participation of young population into armed conflicts. Additionally, she has developed strategies to improve peace building processes and created an optimization strategy for the implementation of policies in marginalized areas. In terms of projects management, she has been involved in the design of frameworks to create, evaluate and implement policies in municipalities in Colombia.

Laura is political scientists from EAFIT university and holds a Master´s degree in Philosophy and Public Policy from London School of Economics and Political Science.

Casa Tres Patios is a CSO partner on the Phase Two Large Grant Project Cuál es la verdad? (What is the Truth?) De-constructing collective memories and imagining alternative futures with young people in Chocó through Music and Arts.
