Peter Manning is a Lecturer in Sociology at the University of Bath. His research explores the intersections of transitional justice, human rights and memory studies. Peter has a particular focus on the social and cultural politics of memory and reconciliation in Cambodia. His book Transitional Justice and Memory in Cambodia explores the way that Cambodian communities navigate different relationships to memories of atrocity in the context of the Khmer Rouge Trials.

Peter is the Principle-Investigator of the Phase 1 Cambodia project 'The Anlong Peace Tours.'
