Trina (Youth Research Board)

Hello! I am 20 years old and I come from Kosova.

I am a second year sociology student.

Since age 13, I have been engaged in advocacy for children's rights in my role as Chair of the Prishtina Municipality Assembly of Children and then the National Monitoring Group of Children's Rights called 'Respect Our Rights.' I am currently a facilitator of the Youth Reference Group in the UNICEF programme in Kosova.

As a delegate of the Kosova youth, I have represented Kosova at three international events including the European Action Week for Girls (2018), and the West Balkans Summit (2019, 2020).

I have met with senior Kosovar decision makers and chaired several parliamentary sessions in the Assembly of Kosova on International Children's Day.
